How We Work
We employ a range of approaches to achieve our institutional mission and goal. These include decolonized sub-granting initiatives, collaborative innovation, and partnership interventions as well as convening for courageous conversations. We investigate the causes of things, provide critical assessments, and offer pragmatic and workable solutions. We engage in reparatory knowledge generation, skills incubation, and ideas transfer. We work in and with the media and technology sector, the public and civil society sector and engender synergies between various sectors for democratic and socio-economic development. To reduce over-dependence on donor funding, we undertake consultancies in a range of fields to advance the cause of our work and the region’s democratic and socio-economic wellbeing.
We also offer the following financial and operational capacity support to CSOs
- Act as a fiscal Sponsor/host for projects or CSO/NGO start-ups
- Provide technical support in Finance and operations to CSOs/NGOs
- Provides tailored training in Financial Management, Grants Management, financial sustainability, and fiscal rules and regulations for CSOs and NGOs
- Field project financial review and monitoring
- Sub-grants Management
